Have you ever felt like your voice doesn’t matter, like no one cares about what you have to say? 🙋🏾♂️ Thinking about all that’s changed in the world since this was filmed really puts things in perspective. As we move towards a new normal, my hope is that you never lose sight of what matters; that you go out of your way to be yourself, blemishes, flaws and all. If you’re reading this, then you’ve been given the gift of life. So let’s celebrate that 🙌🏾

This is coming out of the vault. We had this recording from the early days of the band and thanks to a whole lot of left over B roll, we’re finally releasing it as a video. Just good vibes with all sorts of good people. Missing this, but that light at the end of the tunnel is getting bigger by the day. Let’s GOOOO! 🙌🏾
Oh and stay to the end for some sousa-solo love if you're into that sort of thing... 😏
Featuring special guest Sam Connell, "Somewhere In My Memory" takes us on a journey into our own memories of childhood and Christmas's past. Come play in the snow with us as we remember the joy of building a snowman, sledding down a hill, laughing with friends, and enjoying the true meaning of the season. Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and BYE 2020 from LALA Brass!
Did you ever find yourself wondering if Ross and Rachel would get back together?
Where the heck you put your "shiny" pogs so you could take them to school to show your friends?
Was your weekend highlight a trip to Blockbuster to get the newest movie?
Or just wishing you lived in a house with the Fresh Prince of Bel Air?
Then this medley is officially for you!
LALA Brass X Justin Timberlake X SZA
The Other Side....of the car window...
This was our first get together, let alone music video, let alone PLAYING TOGETHER since the coronavirus shut down the country. Finding a creative way to get together and play our horns during this time has been challenging enough, but The Other Side...of our car windows, became the perfect way to showcase this track!
WE.ARE.BACK. with another episode of Lounging with LALA! What have the LALA members been up to in Quarantine? Since we're all under #stayathome orders, a few of us got together over Zoom and caught up to chat about how this time has affected our daily lives, especially as musicians.
All things beards, track suits, and who could forget: Jorge's shoe collection (5:52).

We stuck to our roots of incorporating and fusing together different musical styles and made this one something really special.
"Leap of Faith is a song about hope in love, courage in the face of fear, and faith in humanity. In times of strife, we must take a look inside ourselves to find true strength; to try the seemingly impossible, no matter the odds." - Bobby Murray, Band Leader - tuba, vocals
LALA Brass brings funk, New Orleans Second Line and some brass band style to the Record of the Year - bad guy by Billie Eilish. In true LALA fashion, our instrumental cover has a hard-hitting bass line from the tuba, an epic sax solo (2:33), and even a brass band trap section (4:17)
Congrats to Billie on a well-deserved Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best New Artist!

Have you heard that Jazz is dead? Nah . . . Some of our biggest influences are jazz/hip-hop fusion groups like Snarky Puppy and the Roots.
Roadside Resistance is all about drawing from these inspirations and bringing our twist to these art forms.
Written by one of our OG 7, Myles Davis, this was our first Tiny Desk Contest Entry. Stay tuned to the end of this one! Trust. ✌🏾
